Hotel Rival tar personlig integritet på största allvar och det är en viktig angelägenhet för oss att tillförsäkra en god säkerhet och integritet av de som våra gäster lämnar till oss eller som vi får på annat sätt. Denna integritetspolicy gäller för alla de personuppgifter som behandlas av Hotel Rival.

Om du vill få information om vilka personuppgifter om dig som behandlas av Hotel Rival kan du begära det skriftligt på ovanstående adress. Det är också till den adressen som du ska vända dig om du vill begära rättelse av felaktig eller missvisande uppgift. Du har också rätt att framföra klagomål avseende Hotel Rivals hantering av personuppgifter till Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten.
Datainsamling
I samband med att du beställer eller nyttjar en tjänst som Hotel Rival tillhandahåller samlar Hotel Rival in vissa personuppgifter om dig. Vi samlar in personuppgifter som du därvid lämnar på vår webbplats, via telefon eller e-mail och som vi erhåller genom automatiska överföringar till vårt bokningssystem via XML -kopplingar. Detta innefattar information såsom namn, adress, telefonnummer, e-postadress och andra kontaktuppgifter, språk och nationalitet.

Genom att kryssa i för avsett ändamål tillhandahållen ruta på eller från Hotel Rivals webbsida eller bokningssystem, samtycker du till att Hotel Rival samlar in och behandlar personuppgifter i enlighet med vad som framgår av dessa villkor. Du godkänner då även denna Integritetspolicy & webbplatsvillkor.Om personuppgifter avser någon som är under 16 år krävs vårdnadshavarens samtycke. Du kan när som helst återkalla ditt samtycke till ytterligare behandling (ej retroaktivt) av dina personuppgifter genom att kontakta Hotel Rival på gdpr@rival.se, varpå vi kommer att förhindra sådan information från att fortsätta behandlas.
Hotel Rival avser att följa artikel 12 GDPR gällande att återkomma inom en månad från att förfrågan inkommit. Du kan också begära att Hotel Rival inte behandlar dina personuppgifter för marknadsföringsändamål. Återkallande av samtycke påverkar inte behandling som får göras utan samtycke (t.ex. tillhandahållande av tjänster du beställt) men kan leda till att tjänsterna inte fungerar som avsett eller att Hotel Rival inte längre kan tillhandahålla dessa.

Dina personuppgifter sparas i vår kunddatabas. Databasen rensas regelbundet från inaktuella uppgifter eller uppgifter som inte längre behövs för att vi ska kunna uppfylla våra åtaganden mot dig som kund. För att erbjuda dig en hög grad av service, och för att kunna kommunicera med dig om relevanta erbjudanden och kampanjer kan vi dock komma att spara dina uppgifter i upp till två år från din senaste vistelse hos oss.
Vilka Hotel Rival delar uppgifterna med
Hotel Rival kan lämna ut personuppgifter till tredje man, såsom t.ex. polis eller annan myndighet, om det rör utredning av brott eller om Hotel Rival annars är skyldigt att lämna ut sådan uppgift med stöd av lag eller myndighetsbeslut.
För att vi ska kunna erbjuda nämnda tjänster och våra åtaganden gentemot dig som kund delar vi även dina personuppgifter med företag som utgör personuppgiftsbiträden för oss. Personuppgiftsbiträden behandlar informationen för vår räkning och enligt våra instruktioner och hjälper oss med IT-tjänster, betaltjänster, kundhantering och marknadsföring. Detta sker endast för ändamål för vilka vi har samlat informationen och endast till företag som kan lämna tillräckliga garantier gällande säkerhet och sekretess för personuppgifter. If you wish to obtain information about what personal data of yours is processed by the Rival Hotel, you can request it by writing to the address provided above. You can also contact us at the above address in the event you wish to correct inaccurate or misleading data. You are also entitled to file any complaints you may have regarding the Rival Hotel’s processing of your personal data with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection.

When you order or use a service provided by the Rival Hotel, we gather certain personal data from you. This information is data you submit to us via our website, by telephone or email, or that we receive through automatic transfer to our reservations system via XML links. This includes information such as your name, address, phone number, email address and other contact information, as well as language preference and nationality.
We may also register other preferences, such as preferred room type or pillow, as well as patterns of service usage and interests – gathered for example through social media – to the extent necessary to offer you a better experience of the services offered by the Rival Hotel as well as relevant offers, such as food or beverage offerings or a certain types of entertainment.
Legal basis
The legal basis for the collection and processing of personal data by the Rival Hotel is that you, as the data subject, have given your consent.
By ticking the box provided on the Rival Hotel’s website or booking system, you consent to the Rival Hotel gathering and processing your information in accordance with these conditions. By doing so, you also approve this Privacy policy and website terms & conditions. The consent of a parent or guardian is required for the processing of data from persons under 16 years of age.
You can withdraw your consent at any time, thereby opting out of all future use of your data by the Rival Hotel (not possible retroactively) by contacting us at gdpr@rival.se, whereupon the Rival Hotel will prevent such information from being further processed.
The Rival Hotel intends to comply with article 12 of the GDPR and respond within a month of the request. You may also withdraw your consent with respect to the use of your personal data for marketing purposes by the hotel. Please note that the withdrawal of consent does not affect the handling of data that may be processed without consent (for example, the provision of services that you ordered) and may lead to the services not working as intended, or that the Rival Hotel can no longer provide them.

Your personal data is saved in our customer database. Outdated data or data that is no longer needed to fulfil our commitment to you as our guest is purged regularly from this database. The Rival Hotel may disclose personal data to third parties, such as the police or other public authorities, in the event of an investigation of a crime or if the Rival Hotel is otherwise required to disclose such information by law or official order.
